James Vinson – Chairman

     James brings 15 years of supply chain management experience to V-Chain Solutions in the capacity of business planning and supply chain management for several multi-billion dollar companies. Prior to founding V-Chain Solutions, James served as a Senior Business Planner for Motorola, Inc. In this role, he was responsible for working with Financing, Marketing, Operations, Engineering, and Distribution to develop a unified sales and operations plan. In addition, James served as the resident expert of Oracle 10.7 and Oracle 11i for 5 Motorola facilities across the country.

     During his seven years with Motorola, James designed and implemented an operational Business Intelligence solution for 3 US locations, as well as locations in Malaysia and Taiwan. James also designed and implemented the Motorola Inventory Turns Improvement Program (later to become the CRSD Six Sigma Black belt project), as well as assisted in the transition of two recent Motorola acquisitions and the development of process improvements for each business. Prior to Motorola, James spent a total of 8 years with Nacom and Sony in a supply chain management capacity. Concurrently, he completed a 12 year tour of duty with the Georgia Army National Guard.  During his last year with the military, James served with the UN peacekeeping force in Bosnia-Herzegovina in the role of Battle Captain, where he supervised the Tactical Operations Center for over 2500 combat patrols. James studied computer science at the University of West Georgia and received his military commission from the Georgia Military Institute.
