Charlton Sample

     Currently, Charlton Sample is an acquisition support specialist for the Center for Disease Control, where he provides acquisition expertise and program/project support to the CDC/IRMO office in acquisition life cycle activities for multiple IT projects, including the critical BioTerrorism Response Team. Prior to this, Charlton served as a purchasing manager for Elan Pharmaceuticals and a senior buyer for Motorola.
    
     Charlton has more than 16 years of supply chain management experience, including 9 years as a contract specialist with the Department of Defense, where received multiple Outstanding Performance awards. In addition, Charlton is experienced with SAP and Oracle. Charlton received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business (Marketing) from Southern University.
